{"id":1061,"date":"2021-03-18T10:57:03","date_gmt":"2021-03-18T14:57:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/happybunnytales.com\/?p=1061"},"modified":"2021-03-18T11:00:01","modified_gmt":"2021-03-18T15:00:01","slug":"how-can-we-ensure-a-good-nights-sleep","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/happybunnytales.com\/index.php\/2021\/03\/18\/how-can-we-ensure-a-good-nights-sleep\/","title":{"rendered":"How Can We Ensure a Good Night&#8217;s Sleep?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>So now that we know the benefits of a good night&#8217;s sleep how we can try to have a good night&#8217;s sleep?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can only go based on my own experiences. <strong>Here are some of the things I do to try to get a better night sleep:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Taking a hot bath<\/strong>, I find spending at least 15 minutes taking a nice hot bath helps my muscles and my mind to relax. My husband just recently composed a meditative piece of music for me that also helps.<\/li><li><strong>Reading before I go to bed<\/strong>, I find reading a book on my kindle or iPhone before I go to bed helps my mind to relax, I also try to read books in bed that I have read before or I know to be relaxing in nature so I am not aggravating my brain with drama.<\/li><li><strong>I use a sleep mask and earplugs to block out all light and noise<\/strong>, I find that cutting out all noise and light helps me to shut out the world and try to get to sleep.<\/li><li><strong>I find that sometimes praying quietly helps<\/strong>, It not only helps me to settle my mind but I find that if I&#8217;m praying for something repetitively it is also a form of meditation.<\/li><li><strong>Have a cup of hot tea<\/strong>, I find that having a cup of hot tea about an hour before bedtime also helps me to get to sleep and also helps my allergies.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>There is also some things I have learned not to do before I go to bed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Don&#8217;t watch TV or a Movie that will agitate your brain, <\/strong>There are some TV shows or movies that tend to be intense and I try to not watch stuff like that right before I go to bed. If I&#8217;m watching something intense then I try to follow it up with something uplifting to bleach my brain.<\/li><li><strong>Don&#8217;t stay up late<\/strong>, I have a set bedtime that I try to keep to. I find that If I stay up late then that I tend to have more issues falling asleep. Routine is important.<\/li><li><strong>Don&#8217;t eat any food past 8 pm<\/strong>, This is a time that seems to always affect me, for others, it may be different but I find if I am eating food after 8 pm then I have issues getting to sleep and staying asleep.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>So what do you do at night to help you get a good night&#8217;s sleep?
