{"id":1122,"date":"2021-03-29T12:56:36","date_gmt":"2021-03-29T16:56:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/happybunnytales.com\/?p=1122"},"modified":"2021-03-29T12:58:56","modified_gmt":"2021-03-29T16:58:56","slug":"what-are-some-of-the-bucket-list-items-of-things-you-want-to-do","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/happybunnytales.com\/index.php\/2021\/03\/29\/what-are-some-of-the-bucket-list-items-of-things-you-want-to-do\/","title":{"rendered":"What Are Some of the Bucket List Items of Things You Want to Do?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yesterday I discussed a Bucket List of places I want to visit, today I want to discuss a Bucket List of things I want to Do in my Life Time. Some of these items of course will also require travel while others may not. I am also not a thrill-seeker, you will never see me adding Sky Diving to my list. I am not into that kind of stuff and never will be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though creating a bucket list is a good reminder of the things you want to accomplish make sure you are not creating a list of things that are completely unattainable, you also do not want to set yourself up for disappointments.  Some studies even show making a Reverse Bucket List is even better. A reverse bucket list is making a list of everything you have achieved and accomplished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With that said I still want to make a list of items I would like to accomplish in my lifetime, while most of these are attainable a lot of them will require years of hard work and I also have to be realistic that not everything will always go as planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So here is a list of some of the things i would like to accomplish in my life time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>To see the Aurora Borealis<\/strong> &#8211; As it happens this is on the docket for this year as one of our trips, we will be traveling to Alaska.<\/li><li><strong>To Volunteer at an Archaeological Dig<\/strong> &#8211; Ever since I was little I wanted to be an Archeologist but it is a field I felt was always out of my reach academically, now that I am older I realized too late that I could have followed this dream if I had just really applied myself and not given up. With that said apparently, there are opportunities to volunteer at digs even if you are not educated in the field. I would like to do this someday.<\/li><li><strong>Fly in a Hot Air Balloon <\/strong>&#8211; This is actually something that is available in my own town but frankly, I would rather have better views, our area is just flat and filled with farmland.<\/li><li><strong>Collect Ancient Manuscripts<\/strong> &#8211; My husband and I collect antique books but we would love to one day own a book that is several hundred years old. These are pricey and harder to find.<\/li><li><strong>Stay at a Disney Monorail resort<\/strong> &#8211; As it turns out we will also be doing that this year for the first time ever.<\/li><li><strong>To stay in an actual medieval castle<\/strong> &#8211; Surprisingly this is a thing and you can even find them on Air B&amp;B.<\/li><li><strong>Create my own Vegetable garden in my backyard<\/strong> &#8211; This will be much harder than it seems because I do have a black thumb when it comes to growing anything outside of my Aerogarden.<\/li><li><strong>To One day Commission, a dress from FireFly Path<\/strong> &#8211; This seems more frivolous but I love the work from this seamstress and have wanted to commission a dress for years.<\/li><li><strong>Be Debt-Free<\/strong> &#8211; This would help and be able to accomplish most of what is on this list.<\/li><li><strong>Retire Early <\/strong>&#8211; Though this would be great this would require a lot of hard work and a lot of saving and investing.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Those are the main things I would like to accomplish, I feel like all of those are attainable and realistic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I discussed a Bucket List of places I want to visit, today I want to discuss a Bucket List of things I want to Do in my Life Time.
