Well an update on my Lady Galadriel dress, I have finished adding the zippers and hemmed the skirts. I cannot believe how difficult it is to put in a zipper, this was my first time ever sewing in a zipper and I had to do it twice for both the white dress and the grey overdress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only things left to do are to finish the neck drape, clean up some of the seams and the inside collars which are driving me a bit nuts, even though I followed the instructions they feel bulky so I’m going to trim them back a bit. After all that is done, I am pretty sure I am going to have to take the dress in just a little bit but I won’t know until I try it on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am not the greatest seamstress in the world and I know it’s not perfect but I am proud of it and the journey to make the dress brought me much so much joy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
