{"id":2994,"date":"2022-02-27T17:32:46","date_gmt":"2022-02-27T22:32:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/happybunnytales.com\/?p=2994"},"modified":"2022-02-27T17:42:17","modified_gmt":"2022-02-27T22:42:17","slug":"the-quest-to-become-a-twilek","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/happybunnytales.com\/index.php\/2022\/02\/27\/the-quest-to-become-a-twilek\/","title":{"rendered":"The Quest to Become a Twi&#8217;lek"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Today was a much more productive day than yesterday even though yesterday evening I finally found my stride and got to a place that made me happy with what I was working on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for what I was working on this weekend, I&#8217;ve been thinking about our upcoming trip to the Galactic Starcruiser. I want to make the trip special, we all do. We plan on cosplaying and being in character for this trip as this is the whole point of the Galactic Starcruiser. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Starcruiser is meant to be a fully immersive Star Wars experience. So while my husband and our best friends are all dressing up I am stepping it up a notch and will be going as a Twi&#8217;Lek. I wanted to stand out and be different from the other guests that will be on board the Hyperion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I know not everyone who will go will be in costume, or fully immerse themselves in the experience but we plan to get the most we can out of the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So with all that said I spent the weekend making my own Twi&#8217;Lek lekku, they are not the real fancy latex ones that I have seen at conventions but they came out a lot better than I expected although I struggled to get there yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the evening time I had it figured out how I wanted to get it done and I finished it up today and even got started on a second set which will be for my formal wear.
