Supply and demand issues are not just in the grocery stores but in hardware stores as well. I think I was lucky enough to find exactly what I needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was also happy that I was able to skip a step, after I had applied dark grey paint to the majority of the surface I was going to go in with a smaller brush to get all the nooks and crannies that the bigger brush could not reach, I decided to skip that and go straight to spray paint instead, I figured that with most of the areas covered in the latex paint the spray paint will not eat through the foam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I tested a small area and realized that although the spray paint did eat through the foam a little bit I felt like it provided some definition and texture to the Stargate that I found added to it. I continued with a layer of dark metallic spray paint getting all the nook and crannies and then after that dried I went over it again with silver metallic spray paint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After I was done I was really happy with how it&#8217;s looking so far, the texture from the spray paint added dimension which is making the gate look even better. I love happy little accidents.
