Tomorrow I’ll be going back to work after my week-long staycation. It was really nice to be able to take this break, not just from work but also from my projects as I have been going a bit hard just to get some things completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I spent this past week catching up on a few chores, playing video games, and finding a lot of time to relax. I honestly did not realize how much I needed this week off to catch up on things and recharge my batteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If I needed this week off, I know my husband does, as he has been busier than I am, I know he has been taking on a lot more unto himself and deserves a well-needed break. It would have been great if he could have also taken the week off but work was just too busy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thankfully we do have a couple of trips coming up this year which should give him opportunities to recharge and relax. Even so, I hope he takes some time off so he can have his own staycation. I’m also going to try to plan on some relaxing weekends where we can both recharge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our next trip will be in about 6 weeks or so but as that will be for Dragon Con there won’t be that much resting taking place as that is a 24-hour nerd party that goes on for like 6 days.
