It seems surreal that this coming September will make it 2 years since the last time we sailed on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, I still feel blessed that We got to enjoy the unique experience twice before it closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It also brings me joy to see that the Galactic Starcruiser community is still very much alive and thriving with so many people still sharing their experiences, creating art and props, and even creating a convention that centers around the love of the Lady H.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the first year I think all of the fans waited with baited breath hoping to hear that the Starcruiser would re-open even if it was in a more limited experience but alas it was not to be, the announcement came out that it would be used as offices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
How ever much of the original Starcruiser would remain is still a mystery to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are now less then 1 month away from Halcy-Con which is the only fan run convention of it’s kind that celebrated all things Galactic Starcruiser and we are so excited to attend this year especially after having to cancel at the last minute the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I miss the hum of starship walls,
the way the atrium seemed alive,
a window to the stars,
where strangers became crewmates,
and adventures unfolded like destiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I miss the cabin\u2019s quiet sanctuary,
a viewport to endless starlight,
where we drifted to sleep in another galaxy,
dreaming in hyperspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I miss the cantina\u2019s laughter,
the gentle clink of Bespin cloud,
holo-sabacc cards glowing in friendly hands,
that galaxy of voices rising together, Ignite the Spark!
half make-believe, half more real than real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I miss the bridge,
lights dancing beneath my palms,
as if hyperspace answered only to us.
the childlike joy of saving the ship,
over and over again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I miss the training room,
the hum of a saber in my grip,
ancient lessons whispered in soft light,
a reminder that heroes come from everywhere,
even from this small blue planet
we call home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I miss the story weaving,
the secrets hidden in every corridor,
alliances formed in passing glances,
choices that shaped destinies
and etched themselves into memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I miss the songs,
the echoes of Gaya\u2019s voice
shimmering through the stars,
her music a promise
that even in endings,
there is beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I miss the finale,
that last swell of triumph,
our ship defended,
our hearts full,
our eyes wet with something more than goodbye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most of all,
I miss the Halcyon herself.
Not just a starcruiser,
but a dream given form,
a fleeting voyage
that somehow lasts forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
