The Quest to Get Back On Track

Even though we are still under the weather we are back to work today in our home office. Even though I am happy to be out of bed and doing something, I can feel the fatigue that has seemed to have crept upon us.

I have a feeling that we will have to ease back into our daily walks once our quarantine is over as this took more of a toll on our bodies than we realized.

Work has been busy and I feel a little more alert and I’m even getting some of my taste buds back.

Dealing with depression during an illness is a thing and I will admit that both my husband and I were both feeling a bit dejected over the weekend. What has helped is being grateful that we were not in a hospital, grateful that our illness was not more severe than it could have been without the vaccine, and grateful that we managed to not infect any of our friends or family.

With all of that said today on top of work, I’ve been working on the Stargate build project. Getting some files ready to be printed can be used to take measurements of details and to create a pattern. So some progress did happen today even if I did not get anything done the last few days.
