Ever since my husband and I celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary back in November I have been thinking about our wedding a lot.
Our wedding was truly a fairy tale wedding as that was the theme for it. Even my bridesmaid dresses were designed to look like something from a fairy tale and my bridesmaids loved the dresses and I even got their input on what style they would prefer.
I remember early on when we were preparing for the big day I had bought a ton of bridal magazines to start looking at wedding dresses and I remember seeing a dress in one of the magazines that I absolutely fell in love with but I never got to see the dress in person for several reasons.
First, it was a designer dress that was way over my budget at the time and I could never have afforded the gown.
Second, the nearest bridal shop that even carried a sample was like a 5-hour drive away.
Third, it wasn’t white. At least the memory that I have in my mind about the dress was not white.
Even though I loved the dress I did wore to my wedding it would not have been my first choice of money had not been an issue. It was within my budget and made me feel like a princess.
So, with all of that said I am now on a hunt to find a picture of the dress I had originally fallen in love with. I’m not really sure why I want to find it and it’s possible I already did except that the image I found does not match the memory I have in my mind.
What I do remember is the reason I fell in love with it is that it looked historical, like maybe a French Rococo style gown with a trumpet sleeve that flared from the elbow and did not reach the wrist. I also remember it being a cream or off-white color and looking like it had a lot of lace. I am also pretty sure that the designer is St. Pucchi but not 100% certain.
Here are some of the images I have found that closely resembles what I see in my mind.
