Quarantine is over!!!

Even though we are not yet at 100% we feel loads better. Energy levels will still be an issue so I spent the morning catching up on as many chores as I could. The morning was spent disinfecting the areas we were stuck in for the past week and doing many loads of laundry to sanitize our bedding and cloths.

The past week i will admit that trying to stay positive and finding the things that make me happy became more difficult then usual. Last time I remember feeling like this was during the weeks of quarantine at the beginning of last year except this time we were actually sick versus trying to avoid illness.

But nothing can dampen my mood today, I feel great and I have more energy today then I’ve had in weeks. I’ve even begun to pull out my Halloween decorations, pulled out a couple boxes and I’ll start putting out some of the décor. The outdoor décor will go out later in mid September.

In the meantime I have not been idle with the Stargate build, I have begun to 3D print some of the finer details of the gate. The print design was provided by a new friend of which I am most grateful for. Some other elements I will be 3D printing I was able to source from sites like Thingiverse for free.

while I will be 3D printing these elements for quite a while during that time I will be working on creating a frame. something I hope to either start researching and working on this weekend.
