The Quest to Heal My Sword Arm Continues

Today I paid my Doctor a visit to finally get results for the MRI done on my right elbow.

A little background I was diagnosed with tennis elbow at the beginning of 2020 and I’ve been dealing with it off and on since then, I had another Cortisone shot in January, and my arm seemed to be doing a lot better. My doctor recommended I go to occupation therapy of which I finally got around to doing in June but after the first session my arm started hurting again.

The difference being this time a Cortisone shot had no effect, so I stopped the therapy and my doctor sent me for an MRI and it appears I have a partially torn tendon. So now I have to see an Orthopedic Surgeon for further evaluation and will more than likely need rehab.

It gets frustrating because there are so many things I want to get done and my physical limitations are becoming more restricted. Even though I know I have people at home more than willing to help me it frustrates me when I can’t do things for myself.

I have my appointment with the ortho in a couple of weeks, I’m holding out for some hope that I can finally treat this and get better or at least get to a point where I can be a little more active.
