Today has been quiet and the day outside has been cold. What a perfect Sunday. We are making a yummy batch of homemade chili for dinner and I’ve spent the day watching Netflix and playing video games.

It’s been a great weekend overall, it was nice to catch up on a few chores and also fun to relax and do things that make me happy. Even better is I got most of my Christmas shopping completed online today, this makes me happy because I have a goal to get the shopping done before Thanksgiving.

I did that a few years ago and it was one of the best Holidays ever because I did not have to brave the busy stores, deal with traffic, or jostle with other shoppers trying to hunt down the best deals. For me, Christmas is about Christmas movies, hot cocoa, and spending time with family and friends. It’s a time when I prefer to relax, bake and just enjoy the quiet time.
