Today I plan on going grocery shopping and I am hoping I do not have to step into a store again until after the holidays. I plan on doing this big shop for the same reason I got all of my Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving. I do not want to have to deal with the chaos of the holidays.

I plan on picking up everything I need for Christmas Eve dinner as well as all the food we will need for the rest of the month. I can feel myself really starting to become a hermit for the holidays. We are not even planning any trips to Disney.

I am planning some Christmas activities but they won’t involve much more than spending the evening in the library enjoying a glass of wine and possibly some cheese and snacks. I was not kidding when I said this was going to be a laid-back Christmas.
