The Quest to Learn to Prioritize My Time and Tasks

Today was another long day in the office but just like Tuesday, the world did not end. Although I missed my husband, being able to go for a few walks while we talked to each other on the phone helped me miss him less.

I will admit that I came into this week absolutely dreading it, assuming the worst that I would have a lot of anxiety, miss my husband to the point where I would be miserable and overwhelmed with the loneliness. The night before the first day I did not sleep well but last night I had no problems getting to sleep.

Having to be in the office is just another workday, no different than the day before. The only difference is I am going to have to reprioritize my tasks and learn to better manage my time. While I am in the office I may not have access to my art supplies but I can still use any downtime to plan out projects or come up with ideas or sketch in my digital notebook.

Just because I am in the office does not mean that I can’t create.
