The Quest to Praise the Obi-Wan Kenobi Miniseries

Tonight we watched the finale of Obi-Wan Kenobi, as a lover of Star Wars this series was everything I had hoped it would be and more.

There was no character I hated, every character was compelling and well written. I loved seeing all the old faces and learning to love some new ones. The character of Reva Savendar was one of my particular favorites. I knew from the first episode that she would have an interesting story to tell and I was not disappointed at all.

While the story was great and well written I also hope that there won’t be another season. I felt like Obi-Wan ended extremely well and there should not be any more story to tell for him, at least not until A New Hope. Unlike a series like the Mandolorian or Book of Boba Fett this series feels like it wrapped up so nicely and I think having another season for the sake of having another season would be an injustice to this miniseries.

All I know is that between the Galactic Starcruiser and the new Kenobi series my love for Star Wars is really being fueled at the moment. My husband and I are already planning for some Star Wars Cosplays for Dragon Con this year and we are already planning on heading back to the Galactic Starcruiser in a couple of years as we plan a Cosplay Only sailing.

Thanks to Disney I have had an opportunity to dive into that universe in ways I have only dreamed about and I am looking forward to what else they throw at us, there are so many new series that are coming out and new seasons for existing shows my Star Wars geek heart is overflowing with joy.

    Agreed!

The series was great from beginning to end. The build up to both the regular climax and the end was refreshing to see, don’t need to be at full throttle the entire series. This seems nicely wrapped up for Kenobi.

I heard Reva is getting her own show so that’ll be exciting to see.
