Well maybe not really ancient, but at least one of a kind.

On a recent trip to NC, we spotted a unique chest that unfortunately we did not have enough gold for at the time. Thanks to some hard-earned rewards from my various quests we were able to acquire the piece.

After the item was acquired we realized that getting it back home would be a quest in itself. So we decided we would a journey to acquire the item in person, so we went on an adventure that not only led us to the item in question but we also found some other treasures along the way.

This last-minute adventure was a welcome distraction from the endless meetings and tedious weeks of work and adulting.

Most important is my hubby and I got to spend some quality time together doing the things we love. Although we work together in the same office, between his work and mine we barely have time to speak to each other. So these little escapades help us to reconnect and also catch up.

So of course the question on everyone’s mind now is will we be unleashing a curse if the chest is opened?
