Since we put together the gaming room I’ve been slowly growing our gaming supplies and adding new things to the gaming room and we will have a nice new gaming table coming in the next few months which for me will complete the room.
Overall I know the space is not big so I am trying to keep things organized and find fun ways to decorate and store the supplies. While the room has an overall Galaxy theme it’s really a mishmash of a lot of the things we love.
Some new things I have added to the room, are a mounted TV so we can video game in comfort, some additional artwork, and more galaxy and fantasy-themed boxes to store our supplies.
I have seen some rather impressive gaming rooms with bookshelf after bookshelf filled to bursting with gaming supplies and board games, and while that is all good I am trying to limit the number of board games. First, because our space in that room is limited, 2nd because I don’t want to be that person who buys and hoards games that never get played (lord knows I already do that with books).
So far the only games I have are a few classic games, games that were gifted to me, and a handful of other games that I picked up myself, games that speak to me because I either like the theme or I was drawn by the amazing artwork.
All this work to get the room ready for some friends who will be coming over soon for a gaming night.
