In past posts, I’ve often struggled to fully capture what the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser experience meant to me—and to so many of us. It was more than just a hotel stay; it was a unique, deeply emotional adventure.
Recently, JP from Double Crit Fail released a video about his time aboard the Galactic Starcruiser. Watching it flooded me with wonderful memories, and I found myself wishing I could relive it all over again. By the end, I was in tears right along with JP, reflecting on the unforgettable moments I had with the incredible cast and crew.
If you have 30 minutes, I highly recommend checking out JP’s video below. For those of you who were lucky enough to experience the Halcyon, you’ll feel the love all over again. And if you didn’t get the chance, the video will help you understand why this experience meant so much to us—why it was more than just a hotel for so many of us.

Thank you so much for sharing the video. It was important to me to share with the world what made the Galactic Starcruiser so magical. The community response from passengers, cast members, and performers has been deeply touching, and I’m so glad I could contribute a little to the Halcyon’s legacy.
I just had an opportunity to read through all of your entries about the Starcruiser. From your first voyage, to the loss of your friend Scott, to how it felt to hear of the announced closing, to getting the chance to visit one last time, each was a perfect encapsulation of why the Halcyon was special. Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to your future writings!
Ta’bu E Tay!
