Maybe 2020 Doesn’t Suck?

I created this blog originally so I could keep up with my own happiness maintenance and yet while I thought of posting every few days or at least once a week I have fallen very short of that goal which has not been great for my overall mental health.

There has definitely been some negative things that has occurred in the last few months (COVID not withstanding) and while I will briefly mention them in this post I will not dwell on them but instead will think about the positive things that has happened in the last few months. As for the negative we lost a family member (Not COVID related) and we also lost our cat.

But on the plus side I am so excited that this Saturday i will be participating in my first ever Farmers Market at the Shoppes of Wiregrass where I will be debuting my artwork to the public for the first time ever. My husband has been so supportive of my art and he is just as excited as I am.

Even though with the pandemic still a big thing I have many things I am looking forward to this year, I have already put out my Halloween decorations and i’m already looking forward to putting out my Christmas decorations (Sorry Thanksgiving) and with Disney now back open I don’t feel as isolated as I once did. Thank you for Disney for taking such amazing precautions to keep your cast members and guests safe.

Have some plans we are looking forward to including our annual trek up to see the Biltmore and some short road trips. Overall we cannot let 2020 keep us down, Halloween will not be cancelled but may take on a different face, some of your favorite things may have to be done differently but do them just the same. We cannot give up just because the face of the world has changed.
