2021 Happy Journey

So in my first ever blog post on this site I talked about my Happiness Journey of 2018, as helpful as that Journey was I also realized that I needed to continue that journey and not assume everything is good and that I will never be overwhelmed by negative thoughts and sadness ever again.

Well Life doesn’t work that way does it.

Working on a positive mindset is like losing weight, you will always have to maintain or else you spiral right back down that rabbit hole.

2020 was quite the rabbit hole for many, and though there was some light this year it was a year filled with uncertainty, loss and fear. This year I experienced an unprecedented amount of anxiety that I had not felt for many years and it was thanks to my husband, my family and my friends that I made it through the worst of it.

So what I need, what we all need is a Happiness Journey. For me in 2018 this took the shape of daily Facebook posts. For 2021 I have this wonderful site and other platforms to utilize. I will focus daily on the things in my life that me happy and that I am grateful for. Most things might me repeats of my 2018 journey and some things will be new as I try to find new adventures in my life.

If some of you have read any of my previous posts you will know that I am a lover of all things Fantasy and Science Fiction. I have also finally started playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends for the first time ever. For Christmas this year I received a Hero’s Journal and I fully intend to use it this coming year as I track my Quest to become a more happier person.

I think I will up my game and not only will I try to do daily posts but I will also try to setup weekly and monthly goals as well. As for the Happy Bunny Tales podcast, this isn’t totally dead either so stay tuned…

With all that said who else needs to go on a Happiness Journey? I would love to include others in this as we all find our way through the darkness to complete our Quest.
