The Quest to Find Treasures Ended in Glorius Victory

I didn’t forget to blog yesterday rather we arrived home after a long day but an amazing day that I went straight to bed deciding to skip my blog for the day.

My husband and I attended an antiquarian book fair searching for new acquisitions for our adventurer’s library. We had been looking forward to this fair ever since we heard about it back in 2019 but thanks to COVID it was canceled in 2020 and 2021.

With much anticipation, we saved up and yesterday we went searching and hunting for literary treasure. We focused most of our search on books about history, exploration, and travel. By the time we left the fair, we had acquired over 20 antique books for the library.

But our two biggest finds are the ones that made us the most excited one we found at the fair the other was acquired via the website of one of the vendors who did not bring the books with him.

The first of these exciting finds was an indentured land agreement that may date anywhere from 1558 to 1603 during the reign of Queen Elizabeth the 1st.

The second find is the one we ordered via the site of one of the vendors who did not bring the books with him, this was an opportunity we could not pass up. It is a two-volume set of the Egyptian Book of the Dead.
