I’ll be honest, today was kind of taken over by my Lord of the Rings Online game. They released an update and the gaming servers came back online about noon.

As silly as it may seem I was really excited and happy to see that one of the vendors that I have been waiting to cycle through finally made an appearance. I waited more than a year so I can barter for a very particular and shiny mount.

A Horse called the Steed of Shifting Hues. This is one of the rare items in the game that has an appearance that looks iridescent. I also have a winter cloak that has a similar texture.

The new release also brought the anniversary celebrations, Lord of the Rings Online is celebrating 15 years, and to think I’ve been a part of this online Tolkien community since the beta testing. I love that even after 15 years the developers continue to add to the game to change up the experiences and thanks to this I am always learning something new.

I don’t feel like I wasted the day, I did get a lot done yesterday and my body did need a bit of a rest today. Tomorrow I will be in the office but I hope to be able to work remotely for half the day as I still have many things to do at home.
