Sometimes we dream about things for years, places we want to visit, things we want, or things we want to do.

Many years ago I started down a path to realize one of my dreams of having a Disney Haunted Mansion-themed master bedroom. I started with removing the carpet, adding in traditional-looking bedroom furniture, and of course, adding in all the Disney Haunted Mansion merchandise that I have collected over the years.

Here is what I had come up with.

Welcome Foolish Mortals to my Haunted Bedroom

So I spent the last several months redecorating my bedroom in a Disney Haunted Mansion Theme!

For many years I have wanted to continue adding to the theme, update the walls, get better curtains, and also get a black French Balloon chair because they look like Doom buggies.

Earlier this year I was able to continue with my Haunted Mansion-themed dream by ordering a Black French balloon chair and it made me really happy when it arrived today and that it fit in the bedroom.

My next steps will be to get some Haunted Mansion-themed Curtains (hopefully blackout), Put in wainscotting, and purple haunted mansion wallpaper. I think after that I will finally feel like the room will be complete.
