Being Creative

Creative Momentum: A Long Weekend of Art, Relaxation, and Preparation

Coming off a three-day weekend, I feel incredibly satisfied knowing I made the most of it! Saturday was a mix of productivity, working on art projects and tackling a few household tasks. Sunday started with meal prepping, but the rest of the day was all about relaxation, enjoying TV time with my husband. Monday, I dedicated entirely to my art once again, making huge strides in my creative work.

I’m especially thrilled with how many art projects I completed. I’m preparing to be a vendor at a show this May, and I wanted to get a strong head start rather than rushing at the last minute to create inventory. While I still have a few pieces left to complete, I’ve made significant progress, and the majority of my work is now finished.

At the start of the year, I invested in several tools to improve my resin art process, including an air purifier designed for resin work, a vacuum bubble remover, a resin stirrer, and a few other essentials. These upgrades have made a significant difference, less mess, less hassle, and, most importantly, better-quality artwork. It feels great to see the results of both my creativity and the effort I’ve put into refining my process!

Here are a few of the things I got done and will be available at SyFy Florida this May. While most of my art is galaxy inspired I will also have some geek book boxes and miniature dioramas.
