Does anyone wonder why we tend to hate Mondays? Is it because we have to go back to work? Or is it because the weekend is over?
I’ve noticed that even though thanks to the pandemic and I am now working from home 100% of the time I still find that I hate Mondays, I don’t look forward to them.
What can we do to make the case of the Mondays go away? I remember back in 2018 when I went on my first Happiness Journey I tried to make a point of looking at Mondays in a more positive light. So it’s time again to reinforce those positive thoughts and reclaim Mondays as just another day and not a day to dread.
We can think about it at the start of the week and think about what we can accomplish this week. For me today I saw it as a brand new day to experiment with my artwork, I caught up with some of my art projects and experimented to try out some new techniques with resin.
Instead of laying in bed Sunday night dreading Monday lay there and think about what you have looking forward to in the coming week. What things can you accomplish to make your life better? Or what events you have planned.
If you come into the week with anticipation of what you can accomplish instead of dreading it, then with time you might grow to enjoy and appreciate Mondays.
