So today I brought home my first new Halloween Decoration, there are some I have also ordered but today was the first official day a new piece came into the house. My husband has promised to help me put out some of the Halloween decorations in the house this weekend.

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays, I probably decorate more for Halloween than even the Christmas Holidays. I really do go all out or at least I try to. I tend to start getting the indoor decorations out about August or early September while I promise my hubby not to put out the outdoor décor until late September.

I don’t know what it is about Halloween, I know I’m probably a closet goth.

I don’t really care for the gory side of Halloween or the real spooky stuff like scary clowns or the zombie babies. For me, it’s more of the Haunted House, or spooky wizard lair and the graveyards. For me I feel like ghosts stories are the best, there is something romantic and macabre about it.

That’s why some of my favorite attractions at Disney are The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.
