For those who may not know, I am a massive fan of Disney Haunted Mansion, and for the first time ever during the Halloween season official licensed Haunted Mansion Halloween decor was released through the Spirit Halloween stores.

While some folks think Disney has sold out by selling the license I feel like it’s about time. Although I have collected many items from Disney theme parks over the years seeing the HM brand expand outside of the theme parks makes me happy. It means that the Haunted Mansion is finally getting the recognition that it has always deserved. It all started when they opened Momento Mori in the magic kingdom and we started seeing more offerings at the Art of Disney Store.

The quest to locate all the items that I needed to decorate my castle was an arduous one as the merchants were plagued by bandits and beasts that prevented supply trains from being delivered on time. Patience and perseverance was the key to obtaining the coveted items.
