The Quest to Improve My Back Continues… With Improvements

We originally planned on doing some filming for a friend today but plans changed and I ended up just having a day to rest and relax instead which I am grateful for. I want to make sure my back is healed before SyFy Bartow next week.

Even though my back is still bothering me it is nowhere near as bad as it has been the last couple of days. I know this will be a process and my back will not heal overnight but will have some improvement each day.

It’s not the first time I’ve had issues with my back so I feel I know what works for me in order to deal with the pain. Laying down in bed just makes me stiff and hurt more. What helps is sitting in a chair with proper back support and standing up and walking every so often. It’s this combo that helps me to relax and release my muscles.

I am also grateful that we now have a sleep number bed, it allowed me to for a firmer feel when I sleep at night which is also immensely helpful, although I prefer and much softer feel it is not conducive to an achy back, it makes it hard to shift and move around.
