The Quest to Rest My Sword Arm and Not Fret About Tasks Not Getting Done

Well, today was a day to ensure I took it easy. The second day after getting a cortisone shot in the elbow is always the worst. Pain killers and ice packs are what are needed today.

Even though I know my arm will continue to be pretty sore for the next few days it will be more than worth it when the pain completely goes away and my arm can finally heal. Healing will consist of being mindful about what I’m doing with my arm. Not doing anything too strenuous, avoiding heavy lifting and taking breaks, and stretching when I’m doing repetitive tasks.

I already tried occupational therapy and frankly, it ended up causing me to reinjure my arm, I feel like in the end, I was doing ok on my own and my doctor also agrees no more therapy.

Having to rest my arm, of course, means some of my tasks will be delayed but personally, I think everything is on track and I do plan on completing a few things this weekend. Today I worked on a project of been meaning to get to for over a year and that is creating a video on my Voltron build from 2019.

Oh and with some assistance from my mother, I started making chocolate ice cream for the first time.

And on one last note, we had many bunny sightings today.
