Today was one of the first days this week where I could actually hold a conversation without going into a coughing fit. It’s great to finally feel like a normal person.

I planned out how I’m going to create the frame for the Stargate and I went to Home Depot for all the PVC supplies I would need. I spent the day cutting some PVC pieces and starting to put some together, I should be able to get most of the frame completed this weekend.

I am still 3D printing elements every day and I hope I will be able to ramp that up a little more so I can get ahead of schedule.

My husband has also officially talked me into completing the entire ring and not just a 3/4 ring like I originally planned. This of course means I will need to build a ramp to go with it. That will be an additional challenge on top of the gate itself but I’m hoping I can keep it simple and not overcomplicate the build.

I’m hoping to have a better update in the next day or two.
