Today I am trying something different, I am making home made vanilla ice cream.

Ever since I saw contestants on the Great British Bake Off make ice cream using an ice cream maker I was hoping to be able to one day try it out. There are so many recipes out there but I figured I would start with something really simple like vanilla ice cream. What I did not realize is that in making Vanilla Ice cream if you are using an actual vanilla bean how expensive they are. Yes, it seems cheaper to just buy vanilla ice cream but making your own is fun.

I just wish there was a more cost effective way to make it with Vanilla beans.
