Yesterday I order a few art prints from one of my favorite artists which made me ridiculously happy. The reason is that this artist is not only crazy talented but her subject is one of my favorite subjects, BUNNIES!
I still vividly remember meeting her at Dragon Con a few years ago and just being blown away by her artwork, even though it took me a few years I finally had an opportunity to buy more prints and I even plan on putting up a bunny wall in the office.
I cannot stress this enough, it is so important to support artists.
When you find an artist you love you need to show them that love, as an artist myself there is nothing I love more than someone walking up to display and saying how much they love my work. I understand that not everyone can financially support an artist but there are other ways to show support.
You can follow them on social media platforms, join their Patreon if they have one, or provide words of encouragement, they love to hear from you.
As for the Artists I’m raving about I have mentioned a time or two before, Ali Akiyama. One of her art pieces is the one that is graced on my main page. She is also currently in the process of writing and publishing a book about the bunny that I am so looking forward to.
