The Quest to Spring Clean Our Castle Begins… With the Garage

I’m having some shelving delivered today from Home Depot, physical limitations permitting I am hoping to organize the garage. My husband and I got a lot of it done a few weeks ago but I wanted to take it a little further by adding some more shelving so we had more storage space.

The new shelving will also free up a couple of bookcases I have in there, I’m hoping at least one of them is still in decent shape so I can utilize it in the common room/gaming room/galaxy meditation room. I need somewhere I can put all the games but I really did not want to buy and assemble a new bookcase.

And so begins my quest to Spring Clean our home. It always seems overwhelming at first but as long as I take it slow and do one part at a time then it will all eventually get done.

As for the common room/gaming room/galaxy meditation room, I had originally added as a possible new years resolution to get a custom gaming table, they are cool but pretty expensive but the day before yesterday I had an epiphany. Since our common room is not very large having a custom gaming table in there may be a bit much.

I previously had purchased a rolling table that collapses and the other day it hit me that if I get a second one and put them both together it would make a decent size gaming table that when not being used can be collapsed to save on space and on top of that the table itself has storage space underneath to store gaming supplies. i also have the Level Up which will add a further dimension to our gaming.

As soon as this idea hit me I realized I don’t really need a fancy gaming table that would just take up a ton of space. The best thing about these folding tables is they cost me only a couple hundred vs. paying thousands for a custom gaming table. If you are intrigued check it out at Michaels.
