The Quest to Make a Haunted Mansion Dollhouse…Conservatory is Done

I have an update on my Haunted Mansion Dollhouse project. I wrapped up the Conservatory which was actually a lot of fun to make.

The conservatory itself was repurposed from another miniature kit that I picked up off of Amazon, the best part is that I used the structure for the conservatory and most of the rest of the pieces from the kit for other parts of the Haunted Mansion Dollhouse.

The Conservatory coffin was created thanks to the free Haunted Mansion paper models provided on the Haunted Dimensions website, if you have never checked them out and you love doing arts and crafts the site houses a ton of free paper models that you can download. I did have to scale it down a bit but in the end, I was really pleased with how it turned out.

I also made most of the floral arrangements using some of the various materials from a couple of different kits and made the miniature funeral wreath which was so much fun to make. I used some beads and plastic bits to make vases.

I feel like I am probably almost done with this project and it makes me happy when I am getting praise from my hubby about how cool it’s coming out. I may have gone a different route with this project if he had not pushed me to make it better.
