Well not only am I still feeling under the weather but we decided to get tested for COVID and we were both positive which sucks. Even though my husband and I are already on the mend thanks to us both being vaccinated we still caught it.

This may affect others in our household and we are both feeling a bit down in the dumps at the moment.

The moral of this story is, it’s not over. If you haven’t been vaccinated then for the love of all that is holy get vaccinated. If you have been vaccinated be very mindful as you can still catch it and transmit it to other people. I think for us the vaccination gave us a false sense of security. Even though it didn’t feel like anything more than a mild head cold I don’t even want to imagine what would have happened without a vaccination.

Well with that said I guess my quest for the next few days is to quarantine and prevent my plague-infested self from infecting others. Thankfully the rest of our household tested negative though they could still be in danger.
