Of course, it isn’t when you are being hunted by a horde of mummies, but how about for your own quests?

I know that one of my big quests for this year is to pay off all the dragon hordes, I also know that even though I will take care of most of the hordes this year it will more than likely take a couple of years before this Quest has been achieved.
Today I woke up feeling frustrating because this Quest in particular is dependent on so many things like gold and other expenses. Though I was able to pay off one Dragon Horde at the beginning of the year it may be a month before we pay off another. Even though the Dragon Hordes are set to be eliminated as I planned it still seems to be going slow and I wish I can just be done with it and move on.
But of course my main focus this year is all about the journey and part of the journey is to take things slow and not rush to my final destination, as each Dragon Horde is paid off and our overall budget becomes easier to manage I can also focus more on the things we can do throughout the year as we end up with more gold.
Maybe we can take an unplanned trip or be able to put more funds into our individual projects. At the end of the day slow and steady wins the race meaning there is an end in sight even if it does not seem like it right now.
The same can be applied if your quest is to improve your mental health, things will not happen overnight and we need to patient with ourselves. Setbacks can and will happen and having patience with ourselves is part of our journey for self-care and self-improvement.
How can we all be more patient with ourselves in relation to our individual quests?
